My dear ones, we live in a time when so many are searching—searching for meaning, for healing, for a way to feel connected to Earth Mother and to each other. This longing is part of the human spirit, calling us home. But as you walk this path, I want to remind you of something very important: the answers you seek are already within you, carried by your ancestors.
You don’t need to borrow from the sacred practices of other peoples to find your connection. Instead, I encourage you to look to your own roots. Each of us comes from somewhere. Each of us has ancestors who walked this Earth, who lived in harmony with the land, who sang songs and told stories that carried the wisdom of their time. Your connection to them hasn’t been lost—it’s just waiting for you to remember.
Take the time to learn about where your people come from. What were the traditions of your ancestors homeland? How did they honor the Earth? How did they heal their bodies and spirits? Whether your ancestors come from the forests of Europe, the deserts of Africa, the mountains of Asia, or any other part of this beautiful world, their wisdom is still alive in you.
When you find those teachings, you’ll feel a kind of homecoming—a deep knowing that you are part of something much bigger. These practices will guide you, grounding you in your heritage and connecting you to the natural rhythms of life.
This work isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it. It’s how we honor our ancestors and walk forward in a good way. So, I ask you: instead of reaching for practices that belong to others, reach inward. Listen for the voices of your own people. They are calling you back to yourself, back to your roots, back to the our dear Mother Earth.
Your ancestors are waiting for you to remember.
With love and wisdom, Kibby
